The 1912 team photograph is believed to have been taken outside the Headmaster Rev W.N. Willis's house at Ascham St. Vincent's School in Eastbourne. It is located at the left hand side of a painting of the School shown below:

Ascham St. Vincent's School closed in 1938 and Eastbourne College bought the land and buildings and used it as a boarding house, Crosby House, from 1939. On 20th June 1940 Eastbourne College moved to Radley College and the Royal Navy (HMS Marlborough) took over the School buildings. In Autumn 1945 the college returned to Eastbourne and the Ascham St. Vincent's site was re-opened as the college prep school "Ascham's" in May 1946.
